Therapeutic Category : Anti-Malarial

Composition                :  Each uncoated tablet contains:

Artesunate

50 mg

Indications                   : Cerebral malaria, Chloroquine resistant malaria, Plasmodium falcipuram malaria and severe malaria.                                               

Dosage                        :

Adults : First Day: 2 tablets (100mg) 2 times a day followed by 1 tablet (50mg) for 4 days.

Total dose should not exceed 600mg

Children : Should be given half the adult dose in similar  manner.                                  

Presentation                :  Strips of 3 x 4 tablets

Shelf Life                     :  36 months
